Monday December 21, 2015 we were able to make this Christmas season very special for one great student – Isaiah Paget.
ENCOMPASS Benefits & HR Solutions is a Benefits and HR Consulting firm that provides strategic counsel to our clients in the areas of Group Benefits, Pension, Human Resources and Health & Wellness initiatives. This year, one special way that we wanted to give back to our great community is to offer, with our long term client Big White Ski Resort, an amazing gift for one incredible youth. This package included one Youth Pass with Ski Rentals & Group Lesson, and Bus Pass for the 2015/2016 season!
The contest began on December 4, 2015 and ran until December 14, 2015. Nominations were judged based on:
- good character,
- financial need,
- community commitment.
We spent a few days reviewing the Nomination Forms with Big White Ski Resort staff. On December 21, 2015 Big White Ski Resort’s Michael J & Loose Moose and ENCOMPASS Benefit’s Principal, Bret Loge presented this incredible youth with a Christmas surprise of his life!
The shock and surprise on his face as he opened the door to be told he has won a free season pass was evident! He asked “Are you kidding me?” and Bret replied “This Moose doesn’t lie!”, of course the moose actually never said a word.
Isaiah not only works hard in school, but he is also currently fundraising to participate in a volunteer trip to build a school in a less fortunate village in Nicaragua. He was nominated by Mike Guzzi (owner) of Studio 9 Arts School in Kelowna.
Congratulations Isaiah Paget for being a remarkable youth in our community and for the work you are doing to make a difference in the world.
